How far in advance do I need to apply for the no-parking zone?
We recommend two to three weeks' lead time, as the office needs time to process the request. The earlier you let us know, the more reliably the zone is in place for moving day.
What does a no-parking zone cost?
The price is made up of the official fee plus our service for setup and removal. Depending on the city and the length of the zone, it usually falls between €80 and €150 per address – we tell you the fixed price in advance.
Do I need a no-parking zone at both addresses?
Wherever parking pressure is likely, a zone is worth it – so often at both the old and the new address. We tell you honestly where it's really needed.
What happens if someone still parks in the zone?
Because we document the setup with a photo and time, an illegally parked vehicle can usually be towed at the owner's expense. This keeps the loading zone clear on moving day and avoids delays.
Can I book the no-parking zone without a move?
Yes. We also set up the no-parking zone as a standalone service – for instance for a delivery, a tradesperson's appointment, or a bulky waste collection.
How long does the no-parking zone need to be?
That depends on the size of the moving vehicle – for a typical moving truck around 15 metres are usually needed. We work out the right length for you, whether in Düsseldorf, Neuss, Ratingen, or another town in the region.
